This kid's gas postcard from the Gaeltacht has gone a bit viral

Back in 2001, Ger Roche’s 13-year-old son went away to the Gaeltacht and, judging by this postcard, he didn’t have the best time.

Out favourite bit:

"I danced with a girl who looked like Satan"

And he signed off with "your angry son who you through (sic) away to a bog".

Sure that’s all character building stuff.

The photo was posted to the Ryan Tubridy Show’s Facebook page as part of their An Post Letters Competition and it’s been shared over 1,700 times.
