Entertainment News: Mark Hamill admits he lost 50lb to become Luke Skywalker again in Star Wars

The 64-year-old actor - who is reunited with HARRISON FORDĀ and CARRIE FISHER, his co-stars from the original trilogy in the upcoming seventh instalment - admitted he lost 50 pounds for the role, by eating more healthily and embarking on a brutal training regime.

He told Rolling Stone: ā€œLook at what I’m eating now instead of potato chips and bagels,ā€ pointing to a fruit-and-vegetable plate. ā€œI’m on the ā€˜if it tastes good, don’t eat it’ diet.ā€

But Hamill prefers not to be complimented on his new look, adding: ā€œIt implies that I looked so dreadful before!ā€

The star admitted he had mixed feelings and was in a ā€œstate of shockā€ when he found out he would be back for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

He said: ā€œWe’re all in a great place and we’ve all done it before. There was a beginning, middle and end. You have to think about all the aspects, ā€˜cause if you wanna maintain a low profile, this isn’t the best way to do it!ā€

CLAUDE LITTNERĀ will be back for the interview round of The Apprentice 2015.

If the candidates thought they’d got a lucky escape from the seasoned interrogator when he took over from Nick Hewer as Lord Sugar’s right hand man in the process, they were wrong.

This year more than ever Littner will know exactly what the weaknesses of the candidates are, as he’s been building up ammunition following them on tasks over the past nine weeks.

He will be joined by regulars Mike Soutar and Claudine Collins, as well as first time interviewer Linda Plant.

He said: ā€œI have come to know exactly what Lord Sugar needs and expects from his business partners through years of working with him, and he knows I will be honest in my evaluations.

ā€œWhile I have had a more extensive role this year as Lord Sugar’s aide, I am still very much looking forward to interviewing the final five candidates and reviewing their business plans thoroughly, as always.ā€

LENNY KRAVITZĀ has revealed that the inspiration for his latest photo exhibit came from being annoyed at being followed by the paparazzi and his fans.

While shooting photos on his days off from touring, the musician set out hoping to capture soulful photographs and people in their everyday environments. But each time he stepped out with his camera, fans followed and paps flocked.

ā€œIt started out being a real nuisance because I wanted to shoot. I wanted time to do my thing and be anonymous,ā€ Kravitz told The Associated Press during a personal tour of his exhibit. The black and white collection titled Flash runs until December 6 as part of Art Basel Miami Beach event.

He blames the social media craze for people forgetting basic manners and respect for one another.

ā€œIt’s really weird that people feel they have a right to invade your space in any kind of way.ā€

After several frustrating encounters, the rocker turned the camera on the crowds and started clicking - almost a joke at first. But then something changed.

ā€œLife and art is about accepting and taking what you’re organically given ... this is what life is bringing me at this moment, don’t be p***ed off about it.ā€

DENISE BLACKĀ has revealed how Emmerdale’s Zak Dingle is set to cheat on wife Lisa, in scenes that will shock fans of the soap’s seemingly most stable couple.

Viewers have seen tensions build between the farmer (STEVE HALLIWELL) and Joanie Wright, played by Denise, for a few weeks, but things will come to a head when the pair share another kiss at Emmerdale’s village hall.

The 57-year-old actress said: ā€œIt’s dreadful for both of them. The thing is, it’s not the first time [they have kissed]. So now we’ve shifted a gear.ā€
