These young people lost a parent on 9/11 - and they have a message for Paris

Terrease Aiken was 8, Juliette Candela was 6, Francesca Picerno was 9 and Joseph Palombo was 12 when the Twin Towers fell in 2001.

These young people lost a parent on 9/11 - and they have a message for Paris

Each one of them lost a parent in those attacks. Fourteen years later, Eléonore Hamelin of Vox asked them if they would like to send a message to Paris and the victims of the recent attacks.

This is what they said.

"Nobody can imagine what you are going through right now and the emotions going through your heart. But you don’t want to live your life with hate.

"You don’t want to live your life in anger...

"People look at you and they shouldn’t see tragedy they should see hope."
