Placido Domingo Jr is Neri’s Christmas gift to Cork

The Leeside opera singer will be joined for a charity concert in her hometown by the singer-songwriter son of the famous tenor, says Jo Kerrigan

HERE will be glittering stardust at Cork’s City Hall on December 6, when classical singer, Amanda Neri, joins with Placido Domingo Jr for a gala concert in aid of the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Opera-trained Neri has an enviable CV of international work, and has gained the plaudits of presidents and diplomats, as well as of the Pope. The Cork woman attributes her success to hard work, hard work and more hard work.
