Eight-year-old cancer sufferer finds sweetheart soulmate
Eight-years-old is not the normal time someone finds the love of their life, but having cancer four times by the age of eight isnt exactly normal either.
David Spisak has been suffering with leukaemia from the age of two and has been told he won’t reach secondary school.
Amazingly, David has a positive outlook on life and has found strength and support in his girlfriend Ayla.

When David and Ayla first started seeing each other, their parents thought it was just a simple case of puppy love.
However, it soon became clear that what the two young kids shared was much deeper than that.
The connection between the two young students has been described as a ’once-in-a-lifetime love’ and it is heart-wrenching stuff.
In an interview with ABC, David relays how they started their relationship.
"In art class I told her I liked her," David said, "and then she got a surprised face. So we…’
-"Started dating," Ayla said finishing the sentence for him with a smile.
David’s parents said they would not normally encourage dating at such a young age, but given David’s circumstances his parents are focused on giving him the very best life has to offer and for David, that very much includes his girlfriend Ayla.
David has already lived much longer than his doctors predicted and he was attending school until he became too sick to go.
Once he left school Ayla sent David letters to get in contact as she missed his company.
On their first date, the pair went bowling with their parents and David presented Ayla with a bunch of flowers and a cuddly teddy.
Relationship goals, right there.
It is so confusingly cute and sad at the same time we don’t know how to feel about it, but we know it is a story worth sharing.
