Genius or a mad woman? Jodi Albert's journey from soap star to style queen

Jodi Albert has really made Sligo home with husband Kian Egan and their two children. She’s even opened a boutique there, writes Clodagh Finn.

ODI ALBERT has had a roller-coaster of a year. The actress, singer, presenter and now businesswoman — or “jack of all trades” as she calls herself — lost her mother Eileen to cancer in March, gave birth to her second son two months later, moved to Ireland permanently and, today, opens the doors of her first business venture, Jodi’s Boutique, in Sligo.

“I’m either a genius or a mad woman,” she laughs, describing the decision to open a boutique in the Quayside shopping centre in Sligo.
