ODI ALBERT has had a roller-coaster of a year. The actress, singer, presenter and now businesswoman — or “jack of all trades” as she calls herself — lost her mother Eileen to cancer in March, gave birth to her second son two months later, moved to Ireland permanently and, today, opens the doors of her first business venture, Jodi’s Boutique, in Sligo.

“I’m either a genius or a mad woman,” she laughs, describing the decision to open a boutique in the Quayside shopping centre in Sligo.
