Entertainment news round up: FKA Twigs reveals desire to put down roots

FKA Twigs reckons she’s really a traditional girl at heart. The 27-year-old singer claimed that she’s looking to settle down with a husband and kids and has no ambitions to be part of the world of fellow star TAYLOR SWIFT and her “squad”.

Speaking about how Swift interacts with her fans, Twigs — real name Tahliah Barnett — told Paper magazine: “I think Taylor Swift is great, but I wouldn’t necessarily think, ‘Oh my god, I have to be friends with her’.”

Twigs, who is dating Twilight star ROBERT PATTINSON, said her Gloucestershire upbringing had given her different ambitions.

“I’m quite traditional. You know that saying, ‘You can take the girl out of the country but you can’t take the country out of the girl?’ I grew up in Gloucestershire, and there’s a certain format that people fit into. And I’m actually quite happy with that format.

“I’m quite happy to say, ‘Go to school, work hard on your GCSEs, do your A-Levels, get married, have children. Send your kids to a nice school. Make sure you’re in the right catchment area’,” she said, although she remained tight-lipped on who that future husband could be.

JUSTIN BIEBER fans were given something to get excited about as naked pictures of the star emerged.

Photos of the Canadian singer relaxing starkers while on holiday first appeared on the New York Daily News website, but the Bieber wiener was censored out of the images.

Somehow, though, the uncensored versions emerged on Twitter — and the Beliebers were impressed.

Calvin Bremer tweeted: “I thought seeing Lady Gaga on TV would be the biggest pop star moment today, but sweet baby Jesus, thank you Justin Bieber.”

SELENA GOMEZ has spoken out for the first time about being diagnosed with lupus.

In an interview with Billboard magazine, the actress and singer, 23, revealed she had undergone chemotherapy to alleviate the symptoms of the autoimmune disease.

Addressing rumours that she’d been undergoing treatment for addiction when she had to cancel the Australian and Asian leg of her tour in December 2013, she said: “That’s what my break was really about. I could’ve had a stroke.”

The actress took time out of the spotlight to seek treatment.

She said: “I wanted so badly to say, ‘You guys have no idea. I’m in chemotherapy. You’re a**holes.’ I locked myself away until I was confident and comfortable again.”

BOY GEORGE and GERI HALLIWELL have been confirmed as the first names for the latest celebrity edition of Gogglebox.

They will be joined by George’s pop pal MARILYN for the Gogglebox Stand Up To Cancer special on Friday as they settle down in front of the telly. The programme is part of the Channel 4 event Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C), a joint fundraising campaign with Cancer Research UK.

HELEN MIRREN has revealed she is scared of celebrity journalists, despite playing one in her new film.

The actress, 70, who portrays gossip columnist Hedda Hopper in Trumbo, said meeting her real-life alter-ego in person would have terrified her.

Ahead of the film’s European premiere at the BFI London Film Festival, she said: “She would have scared the s**t out of me. Actually, a lot of journalists scare the s**t out of me. I have never been a big fan of celebrity journalism. I find it kind of boring.”
