This brave man proposed to his girlfriend using a flashmob on Grafton Street

Public marriage proposals are always a bit of a risk but Dublin man Bob Keating added an extra element of danger by performing in a dance flashmob.

Bob enlisted the help of a Dublin dance studio to surprise his girlfriend of ten years, Kelly McDonnell, by joining in during their performance to ’Marry You’ by Bruno Mars.

He pulled it off without a hitch - and she said yes!

Kelly shared her happiness on Facebook.

"So after nearly 10 years bob popped the question and of course I said yes after I stop crying ha he went above and beyond going to dance classes with Donna O Neill the last few weeks and if the proposal wasn’t enough I’m off to New York in a few days!!"
