Among the main lots are a carved French gilt suite with original tapestry covering (€3,200-€4,500), an inlaid bow-front chest on chest (€2,000-€3,000), a Victorian boulle cabinet with mirror back (€1,800-€2,500) and a breakfront boulle cabinet (€2,500-€3,500). There are also some Waterford chandeliers and rugs.
An exhibition celebrating Ranks flour mills is on at the Hunt Museum in Limerick until October 25.
Ranks was at the heart of Limerick for generation. The exhibition explores its role in Limerick history through stories from the local community.
