Even better though, spa manager Gina Groves oversaw the creation of the spa’s very own Honey and Irish Whiskey Salted Body Scrub.

The unique selling point? The two main ingredients, beeswax and honey, are sourced from the spa manager’s very own apiary.

Gina, an avid beekeeper, also makes her own creamy lip balm using by-products from her hives, available only at Nádúr Spa.

No wonder the spa won the ‘Best Indigenous Irish Treatment’ at the 2014 Spa awards. We love.


They’ve done it again. The team at Chanel have created a must-have nail colour for autumn.

Vert Obscur (dark green in French — there’s logic behind the name), €23.50, is a remarkable cross between green and black.

Some describe it as a vampy dark green, others teal, more still say there’s a hint of blue. Different? Yes. On trend? Most definitely.


We all read about the all-night queues for tickets for Benedict Cumberbatch’s performance in Hamlet at the National Theatre in London.

We are just as obsessed here, it seems, with a screening of the play already sold out on October 19 at Cork Opera House. The good news is an extra date is now planned for November 3.
