The Adare antiques, art and vintage fair takes place tomorrow in Co Limerick. Hibernian Antique Fairs will be in Adare from 11am to 6pm.


An interiors’ auction takes place at Mullen’s of Laurel Park, Bray, Co Wicklow on Monday at 11am. Viewing is from 10am to 5pm today and tomorrow and from 9am on Monday.


There is a private collection of 20 vintage, gentleman’s wrist watches from a private collection at O’Reilly’s sale of jewellery and silver at Francis St, Dublin next Wednesday at 1pm.

Estimates range from €80 to €8,000 (for a gold Rolex oyster perpetual day date wrist watch). There is a big selection of diamond rings across various price ranges.

Viewing is from noon to 4pm tomorrow, 11am to 5pm on Tuesday and 10am to 12.30pm on Wednesday.


Georgian, Regency and Victorian furniture and three cases of well-stored fine wine from a recent divorce settlement will feature at the sale by Matthews in Oldcastle, Co Meath next Tuesday.

There are 80 works of art including examples from Cecil Maguire and Maurice Wilks. The auctioneers say this is their best sale so far this year. Viewing gets underway today.


Shipping off the coast at Genoa by Edwin Hayes was the top lot at the James Adam Sunday Interiors’ sale in Dublin last week. It made a hammer price of €8,200 — 68% of lots on offer found buyers.
