Fantastic Mr Dahl: McDonald’s is set to give away 700,000 Roald Dahl books with Happy Meals purchased over the next six weeks. 

All 88 McDonald’s outlets around Ireland are participating in the Happy Readers initiative, which runs until November 3.

TV presenter Emma O’Driscoll is supporting the campaign and will be taking part in book reading events around the country, including McDonald’s in Ballincollig, from 4-5pm on October 9; www.mcdonalds.ie
