Is this Ireland’s most expensive glass of wine?
Today Neil Prendeville from Cork’s RedFm tweeted his picture sent to him from a bar in Dublin Airport.
One Guinness at €5.25, not bad.
One glass, of what looks like Pinot Grigio, at €10.95!!
RIP OFF - €10.95 for a glass of Pinot Grigio at Dublin airport yesterday! This must be the worst we've seen! pic.twitter.com/pBm5X7idsm

You’d get a bottle for that!?
This receipt goes hand in hand with the news that the new Wetherspoons in Cork is more expensive than their chain in Dublin.
Cork’s RedFM also posted a picture last night proving that drinks in The Linen Weaver, the Wetherspoon brand in Cork, are a €1 more expensive than drinks in The Three Tun Tavern, a Wetherspoon’s branch in Dun Laoghaire.
For example, a pint of Beamish Irish Sout - which is coincidentally brewed in Cork - costs €3.50 in The Linen Weaver compared to just €2.50 in The Three Tun Tavern.
Right, we’re off to Diceys. Who’s in?
Neil is speaking to Trevor about a bill he sent us for €2 pints he bought in a Dublin pub. CHEAPEST pint in Ireland?! pic.twitter.com/CNMtUBgfkA

The Dublin Airport Authority has issued this response:
"We’ve double checked prices in the Angel’s Share at Dublin Airport and the price for a standard 175 ml glass of Pinot Grigio is €7.65, which is comparable to prices in Dublin city centre. You can also buy a standard 175 ml glass of Spanish white wine in the Angel’s Share for €5.90.
"The higher price is for a larger 250 ml glass of Pinot Grigio."
