ABZ from 5ive is selling his Brit Award to buy topsoil

Looks like former boyband star Abz from Five is ’gettin’ down’ on the farm, as he posted his Brit Award on Ebay to fund buying some topsoil and "maybe some garden tools".

Following his fall from boyband fame, Abz and his partner Vicki splashed out on a small holding in rural Wales, and according to the auction post he currently uses the award as a door stop.

The former Big Brother star listed the "Newcomer: Best Pop Act trophy" with 99p starting price bright and early Monday morning, and the bid currently starts at £1,000,000.

"That’s a lot of soil," he said talking to the Press Assocation.

"I don’t need a million quid! All I needed was a bit of soil and it’s gone nuts."

Abz has so far sold some diamond earrings, a Rolex watch and his Louis Vuitton luggage - all in aid of funding his new life.

"Take advantage of my poverty and grab this rare opportunity to own a bit of pop history," he writes.

He also added that English actor Jason Statham has held the trophy, but unfortunately he can’t prove this.
