WATCH: Holidaymakers dig channel to save beached great white shark

According to reports, the shark was 11-feet-long and over 141 stone in weight.
Robyn Schnaible, who filmed the rescue, explained that the crowd tied a rope around the shark’s tail and a paddleboarder carried the other end out to a boat to help tow the animal back into the sea.
But it wasn’t enough to save the great white, according to CBS Boston the shark died later that morning.
"It was an impressive effort, but unfortunately the shark did not swim off once he was back in the water," she added underneath the video.
