Hunting, fishing and Turkish rugs in Connemara collection

Hunting and fishing accoutrements, along with a selection of Turkish rugs, are included in a Connemara collection to be auctioned by Aidan Foley at the Old Schoolhouse in Doneraile, North Cork at 1pm today. 

The auction includes 150 lots from the estate of a Dubai-based training pilot, who retired to Connemara.

Included is about a dozen Turkish rugs, hunting prints, jackets and whips, ‘Hardy’ fishing rods and reels and landing nets. All will be sold without reserve.
