VIDEO: Here’s how your selfies can help the kids in Temple Street
TV presenter Kennedy has shown her support for a new initiative from La Roche-Posay that is set to improve the lives of some of Ireland's most poorly children.
The skincare brand has pledged to donate €1 to Temple Street Children’s Hospital for the first 10,000 selfies shared on their website.
“This campaign provides people with a really quick and easy way of helping the hospital," Says kennedy. "I visited Temple Street last week and it was plain to see the fantastic work that goes on in Temple Street and this campaign will provide much needed funds to the hospital.
"Every selfie shared will make a big difference.”
The CEO of Temple Street Foundation, Denise Fitzgerald, says: “By taking a selfie and sharing it, each individual has the power to make a difference to the lives of sick children in Temple Street.
“For years the hospital has delivered world-class care in challenging conditions and many of the facilities are struggling to cope.
"The support of La Roche-Posay will help us to continue to fund specialist equipment and the redevelopment of critical wards, that will save a lot of little lives."
