VIDEO: The aftermath of Cahirmee Horse Fair in Buttevant
The Cahirmee Horse Fair is held each July in the town of Buttevant in Co Cork.
The ancient horse fair was originally held at the Fair Field of Cahirmee. In 1921 it was transferred to the town of Buttevant.
It is considered one of the oldest horse fairs in Europe and attracts thousands each year.

After another successful horse fair at Buttevant this year, the town was left in a mess with rubbish lining the street.
Cork County Council are cleaning up the litter.
