3[film] LOVE & MERCY

Brian Wilson’s life story is one of the most fascinating in music history. Paul Dano and Paul Giamatti both play the role, amid a great soundtrack. At the IFI all week.

4[theatre] SYMBOLLOCKS

This intriguingly titled play is at the Granary Theatre from tomorrow to Saturday, features a live original soundtrack, a love story, and is fast, funny, and poignant.

5 [festival] WEST CORK LITERARY FESTIVAL

The festival runs all week, but this evening with Kevin Barry, Sara Baume, and Colin Barrett, tomorrow night at the Maritime Hotel, shouldn’t be missed.
