Ultra proud single mother rents billboard to praise her son

Single mother-of-six Ovella O’Neal was so happy with the fact her son Aljelani Igwe was graduating from high school, she felt she had to shout it from the rooftops - quite literally.

Ovella amazingly purchased a billboard in Camden, New Jersey to celebrate the fact her son Aljelani had recently graduated from the Leap Academy Charter School.

The billboard, which features a picture of Aljelani, 18, cost Ovella $725 (€647.47) to put up and carried the message: "A mother can't raise a man, but I raised a gentleman."
