We offer our musical tribute to the late Oscar-winning composer James Horner, who died this morning aged 61.

The man behind some of Hollywoods greatest movie scores died after the two seater plane he was travelling in crashed this morning in Southern California.

His career was an extraordinary one - with over 150 complete compositions for film and TV shows spanning three decades - but alas, cut short in the early hours of this morning.
