How to hold the ultimate Eurovision party in six easy steps

It’s almost here, the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest grand final.

What more reason to celebrate?

Time to take out every glittery item of clothing you've ever owned, all those cheesey CDs you've been hiding away and those dance moves you've been warned never to attempt again.

It's Eurovision, anything goes!

Here's your guide on how to hold the ultimateEurovision bash.

Step 1: Place your bets

Rally the troops - via a social media group - and get each member to bid for a country.

A sweepstake if you will.

Step 2: Dress code

Each troop shall then pledge allegiance to their country by either dressing in their country's colours or national dress.

If you believe they are dressed appropriately, award them with their country's song lyrics to complete their attire.

Each guest should sing along to their act during their performance, in the spirit of Eurovision.

Step 5: Make a playlist

A country gives 12 points to their neighbouring country

An act uses a smoke machine.

Your chosen country receives any points.

Johnny Logan is mentioned

Anyone mentions that it's the 60th anniversary of the Eurovision.

And finally, when the winning song is played.
