The Rock officiates at fan’s surprise wedding
So for Nick to pitch an idea to The Rock's management company was a big deal. Little did he know The Rock had turned up instead to officiate at Nick's wedding and literally walk him down the aisle.
Mundy, who is also known for appearing in Comedy Central's 'Nothing to Report', was due to marry his girlfriend Dilara in September, but she reached out to The Rock's people and explained she wanted to prank her boyfriend with a 'shotgun wedding'.
The Rock agreed to do it only if they got married for real, with him officiating, which meant he had to get ordained.
Nick's girlfriend, Dilara, said: "In the middle of planning the prank The Rock put his foot down and said 'I want to do this for real. No stunts. I want to actually marry them."
On the day of the secret ceremony, Nick only realised what was going on when he spotted his family and said: "I'm waiting to get this tattoo and the next thing I know I'm signing my marriage certificate with The Rock's name under mine. How did this happen?"
