After the news that legendary broadcaster Derek Davis has

passed away today, Irish people took to Twitter to pay tribute to a man they all remember fondly.

Davis, most notable for his work on the Live At 3 programme on RTÉ with Thelma Mansfield, died today at the age of 67 and is survived by his wife and three sons.

Friends, fans and former colleagues have been using Twitter to pay homage and share memories of the Co Down man today.
