Good news! Dempsey the assistance dog has been found

One Cork family woke up to the best news possible this morning. Their assistance dog, who had been missing since the day before yesterday, was found safe and well.

Labradoodle Dempsey got loose after getting past a broken gate in the family's garden. After a long two-day search, he was found in a farmer's field this morning.

The O'Dwyer family received a phonecall at 7.15am confiming their son Evan's beloved dog was safe after being found by a farmer in Killeens.

The family collected Dempsey and were this morning preparing to surprise Evan when he woke up.
