AIDAN Dooley is from Claddagh, Co Galway, and gave up a job in AIB to work in theatre. He brings his Tom Cream — Antarctic Explorer to the Everyman in Cork on May 19-23.

Best recent book: I’ve been trying to work my way through Dickens these last few years, so have managed Great Expectations.

Best recent film: Cinderella — went with my wife, Miriam, and our 14-year-old daughter, Nancy … really lovely.
