Faberge cigarette case at Sheppards

A Faberge cigarette case and an Elizabethan refectory table are among the lots on offer at Sheppard’s two-day sale in Durrow, Co Laois next Tuesday and Wednesday. 

The sale offers1,300 lots of period furniture, fine art, decorative art, jewellery and garden statuary.

There are examples of Sevres porcelain, a collection of Louis Vuitton bags, a nude by Paul Sieffert, marble and stone garden statuary, musical instruments, carpets, rugs, jewellery and even a flying machine powered by a Villiers engine from the 1920’s.

Viewing gets underway in Durrow at 10am today and will run from 10am to 5pm for the next three days with sales starting at 10.30am.
