Featuring giant dinosaur creations like the mighty T Rex, Stegosaurus and Apatosaurus, and thunderous sound effects, the Dinosaur’s Alive enclosure is designed to provide a fun learning experience for visitors.

In addition, 2015 sees the arrival of seven new heart-racing attractions, including the Air Race and the Rotator, a high-speed spinning sensation and one of just four in existence worldwide. Other new attractions include a three-carriage road train and a 5D cinema.

Tayto Park is open seven days from 10am to 6pm; www.taytocrisps.ie/park/

This weekend all five Lush shops in Ireland will donate the proceeds from sales of their Charity Pot hand and body lotion to the charity. There will be a representative in stores tomorrow to answer any questions about the work the charity is doing; www.lush.co.uk

It comes with a free recipe booklet and lifetime guarantee; €150 from Brown Thomas or Arnotts or at www.raymondblanc.com

Coming alive: Voted as the top toy approved by mums at the Toy Fair in London’s Olympia earlier this year, new Crayola Colour Alive, €9.49, enables children to take their creations into the digital world as interactive 4D images.
