This is the lovely moment a man and his cherished dog are reunited after six months separation.

Jasper the whippet is obviously overjoyed (judging from his frantic tail-wagging in the clip below) at seeing his owner Michael Ford after being stolen six months before.

The one-year-old whippet was seen by a local woman, Wendy Jones, tied up outside a caravan and looking malnourished.
