Irish people buy more flowers for Mother’s Day than Valentine’s Day

More Irish people will buy flowers for their mother this Sunday than for their other half on Valentine’s Day.

Mother's Day is the biggest day for flower sales as shoppers will pick up bunches of blooms to show the mammies of Ireland how much they are appreciated.
