Tony Fenton - no one will duplicate the dude
The Fentone had been a constant fixture on Irish radio working with 2FM and Today FM.
After 18 years in 2FM he joined Today FM in 2004 where he found more mass success on his popular afternoon show bringing in such regular features such as the Wall of Sound and Tony's Daily Download.
Famed for his velvet tones, his show was all about the music - playing great songs on the radio was his passion.
Since the news of his death tributes have flooded in from all walks of life, so much so the name Tony Fenton became a worldwide trend on Twitter. Such is the love people had for him.

In 2008 Fenton won the PPI Award for musical broadcaster of the year, a feat he topped in 2014 by being inducted into the PPI Hall of Fame.
In 2010 Fenton discovered he had a malignant melanoma and after battling and recovering from that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2011.
In an interview with his old friend Tom Dunne from 2011, Fenton discussed his struggle with cancer.
