The Rubberbandits’ Blind Boy went on Tom Dunne last night, possibly on yokes
I want to take a ball of Legal yokes and go on Joe Duffy to talk about this glorious day.

After tweeting that they would be wiling to go on Liveline with Joe Duffy while 'on legally-consumed yips' (that would have been a very interesting interview), the Rubberbandits then posted that Tom Dunne from Newstalk has taken them up on their offer.
.@NewstalkFM accepted the challenge and I'm going to be talking to Tom Dunne tonight at 11 while on legally consumed yips

So last night, BlindBoy went on the show - supposedly under the influence of ecstasy.
Although when he was asked, BlindBoy was a little evasive:
"I'm on a yoke right, but, if we take the word yoke to mean a colloquial term for any object that doesn't have a name in Ireland...so, technically I'm on a yoke," Blindboy explained.
Whether he was on yokes or not, BlindBoy went on to make some reasoned and thought-provoking points on drugs, mental health and addiction:
"We need to move towards a conversation about mental health. I'm not into telling adults what do do - but any time you get a pang in your body for any substance, you have the opportunity to ask yourself, using interpersonal emotional intelligence: Why do I want this substance right now?"
And people were very impressed.
If Blind Boy from @Rubberbandits is that cohesive and articulate while on yokes, than those lads should be running the country

Great interview from the @Rubberbandits on @NewstalkFM where they wrangle the convo into a chat about #mentalhealth http://t.co/Zzp1lQnz7M

Blindboy of @Rubberbandits with a logical and insightful talk on drug legislation on Newstalk today. Through the art of satire of course

But things got even more absurd as the media in other parts of the world wanted to know if the country was in the midst of a giant rave.
Ok some lad from Playboy sent me an email asking if there are any mad pill parties going on during our 24 hour legal period? Are there?!?!

If there was a big party last night, no one invited us. Not cool, guys.
