Video: Rally drivers escape flooding car after plunge into lake
Ott Tänak and Raigo Molder's Ford Fiesta was the unlucky victim of the tumble, with the Estonian duo escaping from the car as it dramatically flooded.
The crash footage from inside the vehicle somehow survived several hours in the lake before the vehicle was pulled out.
From another angle across the water, the car can be seen tumbling into the water and disappearing below the surface - showing just how fast the drivers had to react to bail out.
Despite the scare, both drivers were in generally good spirits, with Ott Tänak tweeting this particularly brilliant pun yesterday from the new sticker on his helmet: the Titänak.

In a turn of events befitting the infamous Toyota Hilux of Top Gear, after nine hours under water, the vehicle was finally fished out and brought to the garage.
There's something oddly satisfying about watching the entire Ford team of mechanics dismantle the vehicle. Even more impressive is when they start the engine after rebuilding it.
Remarkably, the vehicle not only competed in the race, but made it to the podium - with the help of some special breathing apparatus.
