Finnish millionaire gets €54k speeding fine, threatens to leave country

A driver has been fined more than €50,000 for speeding after being caught driving 103 kilometres an hour in an 80km/h zone in Finland where speeding fines are linked to income.

The Iltalehti newspaper reports that Reima Kuisla's fine last week was in accordance with his earnings from 2013 which amounted to €6.5m, based on his tax return.

Reima is not happy with his €50,024 fine and is threatening to leave the country.
