Dublin girl saves her sheep with Facebook petition

A Dublin girl, Orlaith O Scanaill, has saved her sheep Ernie from the dinner table.

Orlaith put up an emotional Facebook post a couple of days ago saying that her dad didn't consider Ernie "as a family member but as a family dinner".

But as you can see from Oralith's photos of him, Ernie "isn't just a sheep, he is an icon of hope and faith for the future generation of sheep".
