WATCH: Stunt pilots lucky to escape from horrifying mid-air collision

A couple of Red Bull stunt pilots somehow managed to escape with their lives after a startling mid-air collision at an Indian air show.

The Czech pilots - known as the Flying Bulls - were taking part in the Aero India air show in Bangalore yesterday when the incident took place.

Onlookers caught the collision on tape as the pilots attempted to make one of their aerobatic manoeuvres.

As they fly in formation you can see them break away and then one plane seems to touch wings with the other.

Luckily the pilots managed to get their crafts to the ground and emerged safely with the planes taking damage to their wings.
