VIDEO: Miracle as bra saves woman from bullet

A shopkeeper in Brazil had a miraculous escape after her bra stopped a stray bullet from possibly killing her.

Ivete Medeiros, from the northern Brazilian city of Belém, was hit leaving the supermarket where she worked after hearing a ruckus in the street outside last week.

After being struck you can see Ivete on CCTV being helped inside, however she couldn't find any blood on her chest and instead only felt a slight "burning sensation".

As he husband called for medical help, Ivete amazingly found a bullet lodged in the underwiring of her bra - affectively sparing her life.

Given the extremely high rates of gun crime in Brazil accidental shooting deaths are unfortunately far too common.

Medeiros was one of the lucky few to survive and she believes her faith is the reason she was saved from the bullet.
