Video: Watch as this wild moose eats cookies from a girls hand

It’s not everyday that a wild moose will eat from the hand of a human but one lucky person has sent us a video of just that experience.

Kayla McCarthy from Anchorage, Alaska sent us this absolutley charming video of her feeding a wild moose from the window of her car.

In her email to us Kayla, whose father originally came from Ringaskiddy Co. Cork, described the moose as being over 5ft tall.

"I called over a wild moose," she said. "...not knowing it would actually walk over, let alone stick its entire head in my window, and eat chocolate cookies from my hand!"

"It let me pet and feed it and it was so gentle."

Wild moose have been known to attack humans, according to Kayla, but it has been a very scarce winter for them in Alaska this year so she was just happy to be getting fed we assume.
