This snowy Arctic landscape is actually a Donegal mountain

You’d be forgiven for thinking these beautiful photos were taken somewhere like Greenland or northern Finland. But this Arctic-like snowy landscape is actually Donegal.

Muckish stands at 666 metres and is one of the "Seven Sisters" chain situated in the Derryveagh Mountains. The mountain gets its name from the Irish 'an Mhucais' meaning '(the) pig's back' - a reference to its flat-topped appearance.
