VIDEO: Passenger is enraged by ‘disgusting’ first class section on flight
Owen Thomas, a former BBC and CNN presenter, was travelling from London to St Lucia when he noticed grime and stains under his reclining seat and that was just the start.
Thomas paid over €12,000 for his ticket to the Caribbean island and described the condition of his area on the plane as "disgusting".
He can be heard on the video investigating his section saying, "It is absolutely filthy. You see the stains down here!"
"It's when you open your seat, the real horror begins. This is first class! This is British Airways first class. It's disgusting," added Thomas.
The video has attracted close to one million views on YouTube since it was uploaded and has forced British Airways into an apology.

"We have contacted our customer to apologise. We are very sorry that on this occasion we have fallen short of our usual high standards.
"We pride ourselves on delivering a relaxing and pleasant experience in First, and are taking immediate action to address this issue", the spokesperson told The Telegraph.
