ITV News had their version of RTÈ’s slipping on ice man last night

During last night’s ITV News a moped smashed into a pedestrian in the background of a live report from London.

ITV News reporter Ria Chatterjee was on the air, outside St Pancras Station, describing travel problems for passengers after a truck fire caused the closure of the Channel Tunnel when the incident took place.

A pedestrian - wearing a hat and holding a suitcase - had his feet taken from under him after a moped lost control in the cold conditions and crashed into his legs as it slid along the ground.
