Video: Medical tattoo technology gives new hope to burns victim
17 year old Samira Omar was the victim of a horrifying bullying incident in which she was very badly burned having been covered in boiling water.
The incident happened last Summer when she was living in the UK and four of her classmates ganged up and attacked her. resulting in her having severe burns.
"I remember I looked into the mirror when I was crying for help and I could see my skin completely hanging off me and my neck was badly burned." said Omar.
"It just felt like I had been through hell and back."
Police are currently investigating the case and Omar has since returned to Canada.
There she met Basma Hameed who is helping her to conceal the physical scarring using 'paramedical tattooing treatmeant' meaning over the next few months she will conceal Omar's scars by tattoing pigment using her natural skin tone.
