This sea lion is very concerned when his new friend falls over

The National Zoological Park in Washington D.C. is a treasure horde of some of the worlds most exciting and beautiful animals.

Every year the National Zoo attracts millions of visitors who come to see these animals.

Everyone leaves with a different memory but very few are as fun and adorable as the one this little girl will take away from her new sea lion friend.

The little girl is running along the front of the sea lions enclosure, playing with the creatures.

She doesn’t seem to have a care in the world because the sea lion looks like it is tracking her every move, following her from one side of the tank to the other.

However, when the little girl trips over on one of her runs across the floor the sea lion stops dead in the water and just stares as if he cares about his new friend.

It really is a very touching moment between a little girl and a sea creature who spends most of its life in the water.
