Video: How this homeless man spent $100 might surprise you

In today’s society there is a lot of stigma about what homeless people spend the money they recieve on, whether it’s alcohol or drugs. 

But how this man spent $100 that was given to him might surprise you.

It certainly did surprise us.

Josh Paler Lin, a YouTube vlogger, gave the man the money and then followed him with a camera to find out how he would spend it.

The homeless man, named Thomas, first goes into a liquor store but instead of coming out with bottles of alcohol, he instead emerges with food.

He then walks across the road to a park and shares it with the other homeless people there.

Thomas has been living on the streets for the last few months after his parents had passed away and the building in which they were living was sold.

"There are a lot of people who are just victims of circumstance. They didn't go homeless because they are lazy or drug addicted," said Thomas.

"There are a lot of good people that are homeless and you are doing good on the seam and you bump into a lot of good people."

The entire thing left Paler stunned and after watching the video, we can see why.
