VIDEO: Bride thrown from horse at wedding shoot

Laura Mahaffey wanted some unique photos at Myrtle beach, California, to mark her wedding day.

But this horse was having absolutely none of it.

As she mounted the animal in a pre-wedding photoshoot five weeks before her big day, the horse began to jump and then decided to dash off on a gallop.

Poor Laura was thrown, sparkling white dress and all, to the sand suffering some mild bruising.

Her photographer, Jarrett Hucks, had asked the bride not to do it, citing the old professional's mantra of never working with animals.

However, he agreed to take the pictures as the bride-to-be was adamant to do it. The video has now gone viral on the internet meaning horse puns will undoubtedly be the mane topic of the wedding speeches.

Laura's not one for a long face though and, anyway, she'll still have plenty of great pictures from the shoot.
