SINCE first emerging at the beginning of the 1990s his productions have been revered, yet there are some very good reasons why DJ and producer Kerri Chandler is not a household name. While most DJs were making a name for themselves throughout that decade for the astronomical prices they charged to major label artists looking for a bit of dance music edginess and credibility, the New Jersey native was actively turning down requests.

ā€œIf I feel the track is right for me and I can create something really fresh and exciting, then I’ll usually take it upon myself,ā€ he explains, ā€œbut if I’m simply not feeling it then I’ll always turn it down.ā€
