Kerri Chandler is still playing house music all night long
SINCE first emerging at the beginning of the 1990s his productions have been revered, yet there are some very good reasons why DJ and producer Kerri Chandler is not a household name. While most DJs were making a name for themselves throughout that decade for the astronomical prices they charged to major label artists looking for a bit of dance music edginess and credibility, the New Jersey native was actively turning down requests.
“If I feel the track is right for me and I can create something really fresh and exciting, then I’ll usually take it upon myself,” he explains, “but if I’m simply not feeling it then I’ll always turn it down.”
