Video: Ireland puts itself in Chinese shop window

Yes, industry, e-commerce, tourism and agriculture are all blended together in this video intended to sell Ireland to Chinese investors by IDA Ireland.

It was uploaded today on the Irish Foreign Ministry Youtube channel.

There’s even a farmer holding an iPad in a field and a grand slab of melting butter.

Strangely, Des Bishop is nowhere to be seen.

With President Michael D Higgins currently in China, there has never been a better opportunity for attracting investors from the country.

China’s President Xi is also seen trying his luck at hurling. Looks fairly handy as well.

Anyway, we’re sure they get it and we welcome them if they are enticed by this video.

The Chinese, a great bunch of lads.
