Watch one person’s Christmas dreams come true in this heartwarming video

Carphone Warehouse made one person’s dreams come true this Christmas.

The Irish branch of the company recently ran a competition offering their Facebook fans the chance to nominate a loved one for a gift of their choice.

Erika from Hungaria was one of the winners. She asked for an iPad for her younger sister, who is back home in Transylvania.

"I'm Hungarian. My mam and my dad and my little sister they're living at home in Transylvania, and I'm living here four years in Ireland."

Erika hasn't seen her family in a year, and although they speak regularly on the phone she wanted to be able to see them more often.

"We do talk a lot over the phone but I haven't seen them since last Christmas. The tickets are really expensive.

"My little sister, she always wanted an iPad or a laptop. She wanted it for her birthday and now she wants it from Santa."

Erika was asked to collect the gift in-store at Carphone Warehouse.

"I just walked in there and seen them on the iPad."

The iPad's screen went blank almost immediately, and a confused Erika looked around. She was in for a huge surprise.

"When they actually walked through the door I couldn't - I still can't - believe it."

Erika read her prize winning letter aloud to her family.

"Dear sister,

"You are our little princess, and being so far from each other it is hard on all of us.

"I really hope we will be the lucky ones to be chosen in this competition.

"I love you and miss you so much, and I am the luckiest ever to have a little sister like you."

There was one last surprise for Erika.

"I got this as well, a return ticket for Christmas!"

A video of Erika's surprise was uploaded yesterday and has been viewed over 10,000 times on Facebook.
