Online and in the shops: Disney magic

Disney’s ‘Share the Magic’ initiative invites families to post their letters to Santa at Disney or online‘. 

For every letter posted, a soft toy will be donated to a child. For the second year running, Dublin’s Disney Store is supporting Children in Hospital Ireland who organise play sessions to help cheer up sick children (yoobyoo.ie). To get involved children can write their ‘Letter to Santa’ at home and post it into ‘Mickey’s magical post box’ in the store on Grafton St, or post their letter online at www.disneystore.co.uk/sharethemagic

Trolley dash: There’s still time to buy tickets for Lidl’s first ever Trolley Dash, which gives winners the chance to do as much of their Christmas shopping as they can in just three minutes.

Tickets cost €1 and are being sold at checkouts until December 7, with all ticket sales’ proceeds going to Lidl’s charity partner, Barretstown. Customers can enter as many times as they like and one winner will be chosen at random from each of Lidl’s 141 stores.
