New Bond title to be announced on Thursday

The team behind Bond 24 are set to reveal its title as well as the principle cast via an online stream from 007 Stage at Pinewood studios this coming Thursday.

The live stream, which can be found on www.007.com or at the end of this article, will begin at 11 am (GMT).

The event itself is being held by producers Michael G. WIlson and Barbara Broccoli from Eon Productions, MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment.

The public event will be live-tweeted via the official James Bond handle @007.

Daniel Craig will be reprising his role as the British spy and is expected to be joined by Ralph Finnes as the latest actor to play M, previously played by Dame Judi Dench.

Other cast memebers expected to return include Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, Ben Winshaw as the gadget genius Q and Rory Kinnear, who is expected to reprise his role as Bill Tanner.

According to rumours, Lea Seydoux, star of Blue is the Warmest Colour, is expected to be named as the new Bond girl, whilst Inglorious Basterds star, Christoph Waltz is thought to be in line to play the role of the films main villain, with further rumours suggesting that he could be cast as Bond's arch-nemesis Ernst Stavro Blofeld.

Sam Mendez has signed on to direct the sequel to the previous international hit, Skyfall, which made over $1.1 billion at the box office since its release in 2012.

Principal photography for Bond 24 is expected to start Monday.
